All users access IL in the same manner by simply entering their username and password on our home page. Whether teacher, parent, or student, our system recognizes individual account permissions and then displays the proper data, based on the user's account type. To ensure privacy and security, all data is secure by our SSL 128-bit encryption, the same security used by large establishments such as major banks. Our system also includes a security feature that will automatically log teachers out of their session after long periods of inactivity to ensure the safety of your data.

The Assessment manager allows teachers to manage various aspects of their assessments including handouts and instructions. Teachers have the ability to add, edit, and delete assessments. Teachers can access current and past assessment information based on the timeframe, category, and subject they select.

Assessment Grades allows teachers to manage and edit assessment scores for all assessments on a single screen. Additionally, Involved Learning provides a graphical breakdown and overview of individual student and entire class scores and grades. Various grading metrics are provided to the teacher including max, min, average scores, and average grades just to name a few.

Term Grades and Weightings allows teachers to view individual student grades broken down by category as well as a graphical chart displaying all student term grades.   The displays are based on selected grading periods and scales such as letter grades, pass / fail, or effort. Teachers also have the ability to view and edit grading weights and create new grading periods.

Final Grades gives teachers to view individual student grades as well as a graphical overview displaying all student final grade counts based on selected academic year and scales such as letter grades, pass or fail and effort.

Assignment Grade Reports gives teachers the ability to generate and print text and graphical breakdown overviews of individual student and entire class assignment grade reports.   Various reports can be generated ranging from individual assessment grade reports to final and term grade reports.

Student Attendance Reports allows teachers the ability to generate and print both text and graphical breakdown overviews of individual student and entire class attendance reports. Attendance reports also display individual attendance information in comparison to overall class averages.

Teachers can manage, edit and create progress reports for individual students and entire classes. Progress reports are displayed and created based on date, grading period, progress status, attendance, citizenship and work habits. Teachers can select from default comments or insert custom comments to be displayed.

Within the class management section teachers can create, delete and edit class name, subjects, dates and class times. Teachers can also provide additional information and comments for their classes.

Teachers can create, edit and announce class events such as a field trip or science fair. Class events are created and displayed based on event information such as event name, status, event dates and times as well as requesting permission from parents for approval. Teachers can also add specific details and comments for a particular event.
